Several major problems in the induction heating quenching process:

1.Confirm the technical requirements of parts. The technical requirement of surface hardening includes surface hardness, hardening layer depth, hardened area distribution and hardening layer structure.

2. Surface hardness: The surface hardness requirements of parts after induction hardening are related to the chemical composition of the material and application conditions.

3. Hardening layer depth: The depth of the hardening layer is mainly determined by the mechanical properties of the part.

4. Hardening area distribution: According to the different geometric shape and working conditions of parts, the hardened parts and size has different requirement for different parts.

5. Metallographic structure: According to the parts materials and working conditions, we set up a qualified grade range.
