Induction heating drill pipe for heat treatment

Induction heating drill pipe for heat treatment

Drill pipe, is hollow, thin-walled, steel or aluminium alloy piping that is used on drilling rigs. It is hollow to allow drilling fluid to be pumped down the hole through the bit and back up the annulus. It comes in a variety of sizes, strengths, and wall thicknesses, but is typically 27 to 32 feet in length (Range 2). Longer lengths, up to 45 feet, exist (Range 3).

Drill pipe is an industrial tubular used to drill into the ground. There are three major industries that use drill pipe. The most common application of drill pipe is in the oil and gas industry. Another industry that uses drill pipe is the underground construction industry, or more specifically, the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) industry. And finally, the water well drilling industry also uses drill pipe. During the process of manufacturing drill pipe, heat treatment is very important for the drill pipe performance.

Our factory has produced more than 20 sets of drill pipe heat treatment equipment. With advanced induction heating technology, reliable performance and competitive prices, our factory Forever has got good names from our users.

Usually drill pipe heat treatment process includes induction hardening and induction tempering process. Our induction heat treatment equipment has Solid state power supply, drill pipe induction heater, automatic feeder and discharging device. All the production line is fully automatic.

If you have drill pipe induction heating equipment, please contact us for price and service. Our professional technical engineer team is  ready to help you choose the most energy saving equipment.
