Induction billet heater is an important thermal processing equipment in metallurgical industry. One of the purposes of heating is to improve the plasticity of steel. Generally speaking, the higher the hot working temperature is, the better the plasticity of steel is. On the contrary, improper heating process, such as low heating temperature can cause overheating, overburning and rolling.

Mechanical part of billet induction heating furnace
The mechanical part is composed of furnace body, feeding machine, feeding mechanism, discharging mechanism, etc. The action setting and heating speed are determined by PLC control.
1. Feed mechanism
The feeding mechanism includes a storage table, a front V groove and a conveying device. The outlet is equipped with a roller unloading mechanism, so that the material does not touch the furnace outlet.
2. Furnace body
It is a steel welded component, including waterways, circuits, gas components, capacitors, pots and copper.
3. Infrared thermometer
The temperature measuring device is a non-contact monochromatic infrared thermometer with temperature display and multiple output interfaces to connect the printer or recording equipment.
