For purchasing a long bar induction hardening and tempering furnace accurate parameter confirmation is the core premise of reliable technical scheme and accurate quotation. First, product basic and process parameters are the foundation of equipment core configuration. Different steel grades have distinct thermal conductivity and hardenability, directly determining the induction heating frequency, power matching and quenching & tempering temperature setting. Meanwhile, clarify process requirements: full-section quenching or surface hardening, target quenching and tempering hardness range, allowable hardness deviation, hardened layer depth and microstructure standards. Users need to clarify the hourly output or daily production capacity, as well as the operating line speed range. High-yield production scenarios require higher power margin and longer heating furnace body, and need to match continuous feeding and discharging automation structure. In addition, confirm continuous working mode: 24-hour full-load operation or intermittent operation, which affects the equipment load rate design, power system redundancy and accessory configuration standards. For conventional round steel bars with medium diameter, low-frequency and high-power configuration is adopted for deep and uniform heating; for thin-diameter steel bars, high-frequency and precise power regulation is matched to avoid overheating deformation.

Third, on-site supporting parameters are key to feasible scheme and accurate quotation. It is necessary to sort out on-site power conditions, including input voltage, transformer capacity and actual available power, to avoid equipment power mismatch. Confirm workshop effective length, width and height, reserved installation space and on-site ground foundation conditions, which determine the overall line layout, equipment segmentation design and installation construction plan. Meanwhile, clarify cooling water pressure, flow rate, water quality requirements and whether there is a circulating water system, as well as supporting gas and compressed air conditions. All on-site parameters are related to auxiliary equipment configuration, installation cost and later operation stability, which are indispensable for formal quotation.

Finally, technical standard and customized parameters need to be confirmed in advance. Clarify industry execution standards, hardness detection requirements, temperature control precision and data traceability functions.
