Recently, the independently developed and manufactured oil drill pipe heat treatment machine has successfully passed full-standard on-site commissioning at the customer’s oil equipment manufacturing base. All core performance parameters have met and exceeded the preset design requirements, signifying the official completion of the new intelligent heat treatment equipment and helping customers achieve high-precision and mass production of oil drill pipe products.

Oil drill pipe is a core component of oil and gas exploration and drilling equipment, which requires extremely high mechanical strength, wear resistance and structural stability. Traditional drill pipe heat treatment equipment has long been plagued by prominent problems, including uneven heating, inconsistent quenching effect, low processing precision and low automated production level, resulting in unqualified product stability and restricting the upgrade of high-end oil drill pipe manufacturing. Targeting the industry pain points, our R&D team has optimized and upgraded the whole set of heat treatment equipment focusing on the service characteristics of deep well and ultra-deep well drill pipes.

This new oil drill pipe heat treatment machine integrates intelligent heating, precise quenching and uniform tempering processes, and is suitable for heat treatment processing of various specifications of seamless oil drill pipes. The equipment adopts a segmented constant-temperature heating control system and circulating water quenching technology, which effectively solves the problems of drill pipe bending, surface oxidation and inconsistent hardness gradient in the heat treatment process. Before the formal on-site commissioning, the technical engineering team completed mechanical assembly, electrical system debugging, hydraulic circuit calibration and offline program simulation tests, comprehensively eliminating hidden dangers in equipment operation and process matching.

Compared with conventional equipment, this heat treatment machine features high intelligence, low energy consumption and stable operation. The whole production process realizes automatic parameter adjustment and real-time data monitoring, which greatly reduces manual operation errors and improves production consistency. The optimized structural design effectively shortens the production cycle, improves the product qualification rate, and significantly reduces energy consumption and production costs.
