New intelligent steel bar quenching machine

Recently, a domestic intelligent heat treatment equipment manufacturing hub officially launched the new-generation bar quenching furnace with integrated intelligent temperature control, zoned variable-frequency hardening and closed-loop spray cooling functions. The new model is specially developed for continuous quenching and tempering mass production of round steel bars, alloy bars and mechanical transmission shafts. It effectively solves four major pain points of traditional equipment: uneven hardness, surface decarbonization, poor straightness and manual temperature control errors, fully meeting high-standard heat treatment inspection requirements for mechanical parts.

The core hardening process parameters are fully optimized. It covers steel bar diameters from 12mm to 120mm, compatible with carbon steel, alloy structural steel and wear-resistant special bars. The surface quenching temperature is precisely controlled at 880℃—930℃, and the matching low-temperature tempering temperature is stably maintained at 220℃—260℃. The PLC touch screen supports one-click parameter calling, and the hardened layer depth is stably controlled within 3mm—18mm. The full-length hardness deviation of each steel bar is limited within 2HRC, avoiding mechanical wear, fracture and deformation in later heavy-duty service scenarios.

The machine realizes energy-saving and intelligent operation with high-frequency variable-frequency power modules from 200kW to 1600kW and automatic feeding speed of 6m/min—12m/min. Multi-protection systems including water pressure, water temperature and overload early warning ensure unattended safe operation all day long. Actual operation data shows that the energy-saving rate exceeds 26%, and the bar deformation rate is lower than 0.02% without surface oxidation defects. The modular easy-maintenance design supports seamless docking with new and old production lines, comprehensively promoting high-efficiency, low-cost and green upgrading of the whole steel bar heat treatment industry.
