Regarding the most frequently asked question about the core advantages of induction hardening compared with traditional heat treatment, the technical person in charge of Forever Electromechanical explained that the new-generation Steel pipe quenching heat treatment line adopts IGBT variable-frequency induction heating technology. It abandons the traditional overall furnace heating mode and forms an alternating magnetic field through customized induction coils to realize rapid and accurate heating of steel tubes, quickly heating workpieces to the quenching austenitizing temperature of 850-950°C. Compared with traditional processes, the heating speed is increased by more than 3 times, which greatly shortens the high-temperature residence time, effectively reduces surface oxidation and decarbonization of steel tubes, and ensures smooth surface finish of pipes. Meanwhile, the heat treatment energy consumption is reduced by more than 30% with an energy efficiency utilization rate exceeding 60%.

In terms of equipment adaptability and operation & maintenance, the equipment supports processing of carbon steel and alloy steel seamless steel tubes with a diameter of φ25mm to φ325mm and a wall thickness of 3mm to 40mm, and meets diverse process requirements such as full-tube quenching and partial tube-end quenching.
