The continuous
long bar induction quenching and tempering line emerges as an advanced integrated heat treatment system, specially developed for continuous thermal processing of carbon steel, alloy steel, and high-strength structural steel long bars. It has become a core upgrading device for modern steel mills, machinery manufacturing, and engineering component processing enterprises.

Adopting mature IGBT medium-frequency induction heating technology, this long bar heat treatment line integrates rapid induction quenching heating, precise spray cooling, low-temperature induction tempering, and automatic conveying into one continuous closed-loop workflow. Different from traditional furnace heating that features slow heating, uneven temperature distribution and heavy oxidation loss, induction heating realizes rapid internal heating of long bars. It ensures uniform temperature penetration along the entire length and cross-section of long steel bars, effectively avoiding common defects such as inconsistent hardness, local overheating, bending deformation and surface decarburization that frequently occur in conventional heat treatment processes.

The fully automatic PLC intelligent control system realizes one-key start, uninterrupted continuous feeding, automatic positioning, cyclic quenching and tempering, and intelligent discharging. It supports 24-hour continuous stable operation, perfectly connecting with upstream bar rolling lines and downstream finished product sorting systems to build an unmanned intelligent heat treatment production workshop. Compared with traditional processing methods, the line greatly shortens production cycles, improves production efficiency by more than 30%, and significantly reduces manual intervention and human error.
