The production line adopts segmented digital IGBT induction heating power supply. Independent power units are configured separately for hardening heating and tempering heating, supporting flexible power adjustment according to bar diameters and steel grades. Induction heating rapidly penetrates the workpiece, different from slow radiant heating of traditional furnaces. The skewed rotating roller conveyor drives bars to rotate while moving forward, achieving circumferentially uniform heating. It avoids local overheating or underheating. The electrothermal conversion efficiency reaches over 92%, cutting power consumption by nearly 35% compared with resistance furnaces, with obvious energy-saving benefits.

2. Closed-loop Infrared Temperature Control Guarantees Stable Metallurgical Quality

Real-time infrared pyrometers are installed in hardening zone, quenching zone and tempering zone, forming a full-process closed-loop temperature control system. The temperature deviation is strictly controlled within ±5℃. The annular segmented spray quenching unit adjusts cooling pressure and flow via PLC, accurately controlling martensite transformation. After tempering, bars obtain balanced hardness, tensile strength and impact toughness. Hardness uniformity can be kept within ±10 HB along the whole length. Surface decarburization and oxidation are greatly reduced, and bending deformation is minimized, lowering the reject rate significantly.

3. Intelligent PLC Control System with Full-process Traceability

Equipped with industrial PLC and touch-screen HMI, the system stores dozens of preset heat treatment recipes for different material grades and bar specifications. Operators can switch parameters with one click when changing workpieces, shortening product changeover time. The whole workflow from feeding, induction hardening, spray quenching, induction tempering to final cooling and discharging runs automatically. All production data including temperature, line speed and power are automatically recorded and stored. Historical records can be exported for quality traceability, meeting strict quality management requirements for high-end mechanical parts. Multi-protection functions including over-current, over-voltage, water shortage and over-temperature ensure safe 24-hour continuous operation.
